The Willowvale industrial area in the Zimbabwean capital city of Harare is home to the Superior Holdings Group, a diversified industrial organisation. Over the years the Group has kept pace with international, technical and environmental developments in the leather and footwear fields, whilst maintaining its family business values and traditions.

From its humble beginnings in 1967, the Group today employs 480 workers and enjoys a reputation for quality of product and service, as well as for its commitment to improving the environment in which it operates.

The Group has enjoyed success far and wide and established markets in Southern Africa, Zambia ,Malawi,Europe and Australia.

Combining traditional values with up to date technological advancements and state of the art machinery, the shoe factory offers its retail clients the latest in footwear design, while the tannery supplies environmentally friendly leather to the furniture and leather goods industries in addition to its traditional footwear market.

The Group's own research laboratories and design centres strive to develop quality products, natural in their design and feel. Processes, such as aqueous finishes and high exhaustion chrome tannage, are applied to minimise the negative environmental effects of the tanning process.

As a testimony to its commitment to ensuring consistent service and quality, the Group has attained certification to the internationally acclaimed SAZS ISO9001:2000 quality standard.
