All shoes are designed 'in house' and use the finest quality materials, which are supplied from our sister company, Imponente Tanning (leather) and from international companies (resin rubber, synthetic materials, trims etc)
The Superior Footwear Group of companies was founded in Zimbabwe in 1967. Initially dedicated to the production of high quality fashion footwear for ladies, the group has, over the years, developed into a fully integrated leather and footwear conglomerate, to become the first of it's kind in Zimbabwe.
At the present time the Group consists of 3 divisions and directly employes in excess of 450 people.
The Group is proud of its association with a number of Professional and Trade Associations such as the Leather Institute of Zimbabwe(LIZ), the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries(CZI), SATRA Footwear Technology Centre based in the United Kingdom, the Leather and Allied Industries Federation of Zimbabwe(LAIFEZ) and the Tanners and Shoe Manufucturers Association (TASMA).
We are also committed to improving the environment in which we operate and, amongst other environmental projects undertaken by the group, Superior earned certification to ISO status in 2002 initially ISO9001 and lately ISO14001:2004. The company has now embarked on the Intergrated Management System comprising ISO9001:2000 ,ISO140001:2004 and OHS18001.
